We have implemented the official drop rate behavior. To understand this, you need to understand the formula and this calculation example:
Official Servers run on the Emulator "Aegis".
In Aegis they used this calculation: (x+1)/10001 chance. X being the database value.
The value 1 in the database stands for the minimum drop chance in Ragnarok (0,01%).
The value 1 in the database would show this calculation: (1+1) / 10001 = 0.00019998. As this is a different unit, translated into % it is always 100 times higher. This means that the result is 0.019998%.
So 0% in database is 0.00999% effectively
0.01% in database is 0.019998% effectively
0.02% in database is 0.029997% effectively
50% in database is 50.004999%
As we want to emulate the official server behavior, we have implemented this “flaw” into our servers code, so a 0,01% drop chance is really a 0,019998% drop chance
